Well first of all hi, I'm on here as a long shot but there don't seem to be many options for me. Im a young(ish) gay guy who has always wanted a family of my own. I don't seem to be made like many other gay guys in the community. I don't go clubbing alot, don't do drugs, dont have a sex partner list the size of the whitepages book, but mostly im different because theres a darkness in my soul, a hole that makes me incomplete. From all the post of read all of you understand that feeling. You are all lucky though, the ability to create life is one i am completely envious of. Im hoping that maybe someone will know of someone in Brisbane that wants to start a family but one where the father has a role in the childs life. I don't want to just be a donor, i want to have a child i can love in everyway a father should.

If anyone knows of anywhere else that might be helpful to me the information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Damien

Hi,

I dont know where to send you for more information. But all I know is you could advertise that you would like help to have a family. Im not so sure you would be welcomed in most hetro baby magazines. If it were my magazine I wouldn't mind if they were gay or straight. But I think some people might have a problem with it.

In sydney they have a magazine called sydney child I think its free, my sister gave me one to advertise for a sperm donor. But we never did.

I wish you all the luck on your journey.

bye for now
redlady.

There 're some websites you could try but I have already been kicked off here once, I believe without warning, for trying to help people with information that requires them to go out side this forum.

I'll give it a try !

Do a google or yahoo search on

Pinkboard
There is also a gay dads yahoo group in a state near you !

Best of luck with your journey
