Default 12months on - we're pregnant

Well after 4 interstate IUIs and 2 interstate IVFs, my partner Anna and I are relieved and ecstatic to finally have a BFP. We were in the process of changing clinics after getting 'medical infertility' status. (Victoria has laws against lesbians and singles accessing fertility so we travelled to Brisbane every month) The new clinic required a 6 week waiting period to fill out all the paperwork and do all the new appointments. So we decided to take a punt and travel again to use our only frozen blastocyst embryo. There was a 50% chance that it wouldn't thaw and I would have to go home empty handed but our little fighter survived the night and the two week wait and now I'm 5.5 weeks pregnant!

Would love to talk to others who have been on our journey or a similar one.
