| | Trying for Number 2 - Wish us luck!
So, just gave Sal her trigger injection for our second round of IVF. Egg retrievel on Monday ( we have seen eight follicles on the scans so for that many ) and then EMBRYO TRANSFER on Wednesday!
So we begin the two week wait on Wednesday, hoping for one lovely fresh embryo to put in and a couple to put on ice for the next time.
EXCITED but cautious.

Hope those little follies continue to flourish and you have a really good result on Monday for a nice freshie on Wednesday. We are having our first FET on Tuesday so will be on the TWW with you, hope it goes really fast for us both.
Here's hoping a little brother or sister is brewing for little Charlie as we speak

Well, time for a quick update - unfortunately we didn't get any embryo's to transfer, so will have to wait for the next cycle in 6 weeks or so.
Absolutely devastated, but have to remind ourselves that we have a beautiful little boy to enjoy while we keep trying and hopefully next time, because we will try a different type of cycle, we might have more success.
With Charlie, he was the only successful embryo out of 6 eggs, so we were soooooo lucky to get pregnant at all. Our FS thinks that the next cycle will produce more mature eggs, so will have a better fertilisation rate.
Hoping, hoping, hoping for next cycle!
Thanks for all your well wishing & crossing all fingers and toes for leather & lace!

We are so sorry to hear that this cycle was unsuccessful for your beautiful family, hopefully next cycle will be the one to add a gorgeous new addition.
We are thinking of you all and we thank you so much for keeping everything crossed for us.
