Default Multiple User Accounts - Breach of Guidelines

Due to a recent incident with a member by the name of "muggle", and other ex members rejoining under alias' to cause trouble, we have installed a multiple user trip detector. This tool alerts us to when a user has more than one username. Now most of the time there is a legit reason, but on occasion there will be people who post with multiple accounts only to be deceitful and cause trouble. We understand if certain members like to feel a sense of anonymity regarding certain topics of a private nature and thus use alter ego's however if these alter ego's are used to cause trouble it is not acceptable. So if we find has used more than one account and we cannot see a logical reason why this is the case, you will be contacted and unless you can provide us with a valid reason it will result in immediate suspension of both accounts. We do not want to get "Big Brotherish" on our members however recent events with ex-members has lead to this.

With regards to the matter that caused us to add this tool, we have had confirmation that the user Muggle is in fact a previous user Jo/Kerry and due to their behaviour, their membership has been deactivated.

If anyone would like any further information regarding this matter please contact an administrator directly as this will not be discussed openly on the forums.

Regards,
