Ok so there seems to be a lot of people concerned with being censored. I think people are forgetting now that its not the opinion that is being censored its the mannerisms of the poster.

We are quite happy for people to disagree with content. HOWEVER the gentle side of this forum was setup so that people who choose to parent gently can come and ask for support without being offered advice which conflicts their parenting choice. If someone has posted something you find offensive, or off subject you may address that but we ask that you do it NICELY and with tact. And we also ask that if the situation requires you might be best to contact that person offline so that it doesn't make it uncomfortable for everyone else. Catty, snide comments are not necessary. If you have something to say to a moderator or administrator DO SO and do it OFF the forums! Do not use the forums to have a dig, as not only does it reflect badly on yourself it just looks petty! And if you have a problem we want to know about it we want to know how we can do our best to continue providing you with a forum you love.

Never post in anger! Never attack a member for their opinion or beliefs!

If you are emotional as a result of something you have read, then sure reply save it as a draft come back and read it again when you are in a better frame of mind and *then* post it. You will be less likely then to say something you regret.

If you have a problem with a member, please understand we are not personality police! We cannot moderate a persons posts because you do not get along with them, or because you don't like the way they live their lives or the beliefs they hold. Unless it breaks our guidelines you will have to deal with it yourself. And preferably OFF the forums! If all else fails you can put them on ignore.

Please remember this is not only your forum but EVERYONES, we try and accompany everyone. So when we ask you to be nice its not for our sakes it for yours. No we do not really encourage debating, purely because this forum was setup for support. However if you would like to see a debating forum please contact myself, Kathryn, Christy or Sarah. And we will see how much interest it gets.
