Ovulation after Early M/C

Hi Ladies

I unfortunately just experienced a M/C at 5 weeks. I must have lost the pregnancy quite early because my HCG had already dropped to 6 the day after I started cramping and bleeding.

The bleeding has now stopped now and DH and I are thinking we might try again this month. I'm just wondering whether I'm likely to ovulate around the same time or whether I should expect my cycles to be out of whack? My cycles are usually 5 weeks with an 11 day LP so it usually take a while to release the eggie anyway.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks

Hi

Has any-one ever heard of poor blood flow to the uterus being an issue?

I have a combination of subfertility (takes me over a year to conceive) and miscarriage.

Unexplained TTC 3 years.

It's something that im wondering about.

I know one of my miscarriages was genetically normal also I get a lot of pain 9 days before my period.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks X

Hi, just signed up on Belly Belly and hoping for some advice or thoughts from women who have gone through the same thing I have. I am 32 and have had 2 miscarriages (one at 8 weeks and one at 6) We live in Canada and our health care system is a bit slow. We are on a waiting list to get into a clinic for frequent loss, but have another 4 months to wait. Meanwhile, we have gone to a US clinic and had blood work done, everything appears normal, they want us to follow up with an HSG. Any opinions on this? Has it been helpful or is it kind of a waste of time/money? I will do whatever it takes to protect my next child, but I hear so many opinions...just try again, I'm sure it will be fine.....Oh, these things jsut happen....why are you wasting your time on these tests....etc... it goes on. So I'm not sure what to think anymore. I didn't want to recklessly try for a third pregnancy without at least ruling some things out, and I'd love to try again right away (last miscarraige was end of Aug. so I feel ready.) but what if this HSG could reveal something? I'm frustrated/ confused and it would help to know what other people have done/experienced. Any thoughts?

I gave birth to my lil boy dylan 20 mths ago and he was born at 25 weeks weighing 1lb 2ozs, ever since i gave birth to him my periods have been heavy and not how they was i have been for tests for endo and they say i have not got any.. I have only been trying to conceive for the last 6 months but i have not used contraception since i lost him yet nothing has happened.. I am really worried that i am unable to conceive and this scares me as i would really like another child not to replace my lil man as no child ever could but i feel lost without a babe in arms and now i have come to terms with losing my boy i feel the time is right but nothing is happening and with the problems im having with my cycle which are 28 days regular just very heavy and im Ov around days 17 to 19.. as anyone else had the same experience of their cycles change majorly after birth and finding it hard to conceive...
