Window Sox for Subaru Forester GT

I'm looking to buy proper fitting rear window shades now that we have two munchkins and it looks like the Shevron Window Sox are all the go at the moment but I was wondering if anyone has a Subaru Forester and these Window Sox? For starters, there isn't a door frame so I'm wondering if the Window Sox fit properly on these windows and second for anyone who has Window Sox, what is the visibility like when driving? I'm worried that they are too dark to see cars in the blind spots when doing a head check.

Otherwise, I would love to hear from anyone with this model car that has good window shades.

Thanks

One million strollers recalled after fingertip amputations
November 10, 2009 - 10:23AM
US authorities have announced a recall of 1 million baby strollers made by Britain's Maclaren, saying they posed a risk of "fingertip amputation" to young children.

"Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed," the Consumer Product Safety Commission said in a statement.

The Chinese-manufactured strollers' hinge mechanism "poses a fingertip amputation and laceration hazard to the child when the consumer is unfolding/opening the stroller", the commission said.

The firm has received 15 reports of children placing their finger in the stroller's hinge mechanism, and 12 reports of fingertip amputations in the United States.

The recall involves all Maclaren single and double umbrella strollers. They have word "Maclaren" printed on the stroller and included models Volo, Triumph, Quest Sport, Quest Mod, Techno XT, TechnoXLR, Twin Triumph, Twin Techno and Easy Traveller.

The products sold from 1999 until this month for between $US100 and $US360.

Bassinette Mattress - Tetra or foam?

I've been lent a bassinette , but it's a bit bigger than the mattresses in Big W for $12. I'm going to check at the baby shop on Tuesday after my m/w appointment, but if I can't get one there, the options are: buy a Tetra Ti-tree mattress (which has dimensions slightly bigger than the bassinette), get a custom made foam one from the baby shop near DH work for about $50 or go to Clark Rubber and see if I can get foam cut to size.

Are the Ti-tree ones any good? I'm concerned its too soft and will mould to baby's shape.

What do you reckon?
