Lack of commitment.

I am struggling because there are so many lifestyle factors making it sooo difficult.

I guess some is part laziness, but the laziness comes from lack of time. The lack of time comes from prioritising family time first, and yet I know that if I want the best out of family time I need to be fit and healthy. How to do both?

I guess I should say it's not really lack of commitment, more so lack of ability to commit.

I work full time and I am on my feet all day so I find it hard to negotiate exercise into my daily routine when if it is before work it exhausts me, and of it is after I am already exhausted.

We bought a season pass to the local pool, and while not doing lapsas I am both unfit and an unskilled/uncoordinated swimmer, I am getting some exercise out of it. We have a cross trainer at home as well.

What I find difficult is having no routine... my work roster is unpredictable. At the moment most shifts are 3-11 but I find it hard to maintain a routine when it changes. Also I am nto good at taking dinner to work and not a fan of reheated meals, so I am either eating crap or not eating at all.

And then on morning shifts i dont have time for breakfast.

the one thing I am good at is drinking water and I tend to drink 2-3 litres oon shift, not including at home. A headache is the first sign of not enough so I am always chugging it down.

I have the number of two BB girls thinking having some other people to bust my arse would help but I haven't had time to text them or reply. I just need more time!

I know this is a bit of a non-sensical ramble (in a hurry, work in 20 mins), but does anyone have any hints, tips or experiences to help me out?

ETA: And can anyone tell me WHY??? is all the centimetres coming off my hips and nowhere else. I hardly got hips when pregnant it's the last place I need to lose from right now. My pants won't stay up any more :( So now my baby belly is lookinh even more disproportionate!

So far I have lost 8.8Kg!

Still have heaps to go but am proud of my achievement.

The first place that I noticed weight coming of me was my face, then my hips, thighs and today I noticed for the first time that I dont have that back fat below my bra strap!

That is a massive WOO HOO for me!:D

Where have you noticed the weight coming off your body?

I am not doing measurements but think I should. I've gone down a dress size but I dont think I have lost any of my pudding tummy. :( I desperately want it to go from there.

Just looking for some experiences about shake diets (celebrity slim, tony ferguson etc). Im at my wits end with losing weight and i feel like this kind of thing is the only thing i can do to lose weight successfully. I haven't used them so far as i dont want to yo yo diet.

So far i have been using protein powder instead of the traditional shake diets but haven't used them daily. Just every now and then.

Any thoughts?

TIA

After seeing some atrocious photos of me....the challenge is on!

So I just saw some horrific photos of me that a freind has put on facebook. OMG, I am sooo FAT! It's horrible. I knew I was overweight, but didn't think I looked so bad. It has certainly brought it home to me that I really need to get healthy and fit, not just to look better, but to just feel better with myself.
So I have up to 28kgs to lose. That would get me back to the shape I was in when I met DH at 18yrs old! But realistically I think I would probably be happy with 20kgs. That would get me back to pre ttc, pre pregnancy (including my 2nd angel) weight.
Wow, 20kgs....how daunting. Guess I won't be having anymore devil chicken wings for dinner at 9.30pm, with a 2-cupcake chaser dessert any more....
So now I am *gulp* 88kgs.....getting under 80kgs has proven to be my first hurdle recently, so that will be my first goal, to get under 80kgs, by....lets see, christmas is what, 9weeks away?? Maybe new year would be a good goal.

79.9kg's by New Years. Lets get cracking!!!

Nutritionist for weight loss

Hi

Has anyone seen a nutritionist in regard to weight loss? Iv been trying to lose weight for awhile now and its just not happening, no matter how much exercise i do it just wont shift. I keep thinking i will do a shake diet and it will come off but i know that wont happen and even when i do lose weight i will just put it back on when i finish.

I think i eat healthy but obviously i dont and so i think i need to learn about what i am doing wrong as quite frankly im getting quite depressed about it and dont even want to go to the gym as i just feel like its a complete waste of time.

Has anyone seen a nutritionist in regards to weight loss? What did you think? Was it worth it in your opinion or can i get just as much out of a book etc? What did they do with you? How many visits did you need to have? How much did it cost?

Thanks for any opinions and replies!

I have heard heaps of ads on the radio lately for Latin Seed weight loss seeds. Obviously I am heavily influenced by advertising, LOL, and I would like to know more about it.
I have looked at their website...but of course they are only going to have good things on there  So I was wondering if anyone has used it or knows anyone who has used it? Does it taste disgusting?

Duromine

Hi Guys

I am a 19 year old mother of 2, I have a 20month old and a 8 month old. Unfortuantly i put on 20 kilos whilst pregnant whit my bubs and am having a little trouble loosing the weight.

I was on duromine 30 Mg for a month in june and lost 5 kilos and have managed to keep the 5kilos off.

I decided to take a break from duromine for a while, As i didnt want to harm my self - It is now october and I am currently in my 2nd week of Duromine 40mg. In the first couple of days i lost a couple of kilos and since then i havent lost anything. I am just after some ideas on what else i can do? In the pass couple of days i have started to go to the gym for atleast half an hour a day. I am hoping this is going to help me loose a little extra kilos.

I have been searching for an eating plan and exercise plan on google whilst on duromine but i cant find one any where which i was suprised about.

If any one has any tips id love to hear them.

I am 167cm talls, And before i started the 40 mg i Was 78 Kilos. Today i am currently 75kgs

My Goal weight is 65kgs but id be happy to be 70kgs

Also I do not have any side affects on duromine what so ever, apart from the dry mouth. But thats from lack of eating i believe.
It doesnt give me energy and it doesnt stop me from sleeping.
