Default PID

Hi, not sure if I'm posting this in the right place but I'm feeling a bit panicked. I'm 24 and my partner is 30, we have been trying to conceive for 4 months with no result so far. The reason I'm panicked was that 2 years ago I was diagnosed with chlamydia, which I could have had for up to a year before it was picked up. I was experiencing lower abdo pain which was why I went to the GP. I asked her about PID at the time, but she said it most likely wasn't, and gave me a course of antibiotics. Looking back now I'm wondering if it was PID as chlamydia so often doesn't have symptoms, and I'm totally stressed out that it's affected my fertility. Do you think a doctor would do some tests even though I haven't been trying to conceive for 12 months?
Any advice or stories would be much appreciated, thanks

It might be worth a trip to the Dr to get there opinion but I think seeing as you haven't being ttc for long (I know it feels like a long time but its only a short time) then they are probably reluctant to investigate further. The average couple take about 9months to concieve so you are still very much in that time frame. I can see your concern but I would be surprised if the Dr would do anything. Id like to hear others answers but to my Knowledge it is very difficult to diagnose without laparoscopic surgery to actually go in and see if there is damage or any signs of PID. Which at this stage you would want to avoid if possible. Hopefully if the Clymidia caused PID the antibiotics you were on then would have treated it and prevented further damage if you did have PID at the time. Have you had unexplained temperatures, smelly hoohaa or any other signs like pelvic pain in the last few months?
