So unfair!

A while ago now I bid on a chest of drawers just down the road from me. Only like 10 minutes away. Noone else bid, so I won them.
My mum went to pick them up for me, but noone was home. I had tried emailing, but recieved no answer, so figured since she was there she could try anyway.
But, no. Not there.
Then all my problems started. DH wasn't here, so I had to get mum to help me. With the kids & getting it out of the car. That in itself was hard enough, then the money. After that first week I found the money hard to get. Emailed her & let her know everything that was happening & she seemed so nice....my butt!

After probably 3 weeks I gave up. Said I was so sorry, but she'd be better off relisting them, as I couldn't see myself getting the money any time soon.
She said ok, & to let her know if in the meantime I got the money.

I even told her that if she felt the need she was more than welcome to give me bad reputation, but there was nothing I could do.

She replied that she wouldn't do that, she understands & that its all ok.

Then a week later she sends me another email saying she was either going to give me an unpaid item strike, or open a dispute, or something, so she could get the fee's for listing it back from ebay. (I'm thinking a whole $2 maybe??)

Next thing I know my account is suspended! She specifically told me nothing like that would happen! Emailed me before it all...to butter me up I guess??

So I ask ebay what to do. I still had other stuff I'd wanted to pay for & get! They say look up her details & ring her. I try...no answer.

So I gave up & thought bugger it. I'll create a new account. Did that & bought 2 things. Just 2 minutes ago paid for those 2 things & went to bid on another when I find out my account is suspended again...WTF?

Find out its coz they linked it to my previous as soon as I used the same paypal account to pay. Had no idea that I couldn't create a new account after I was stuffed around!

Oh...& the things I just paid for? I may never see them, coz my account is suspended...the sellers can't access my details to find out where to send it too!!!

This is so unfair! You try to do the right thing & people just **** all over you anyway!

Oh that sucks big time!! Can you contact ebay and see if they can un suspend your account in some way? What a pain! I really hope it gets sorted.

That sucks..did you discuss everything via email? If you have the emails, i would send everything you have to ebay and explain the situation, it sounds like you tried to do everything you could and it had all been worked out...then she has double crossed you?!? Some people are just awful.

It was all through ebay messages, but I'm pretty sure they'd be in my email account too...but only the recieved ones. Not my sent ones...
I sent an email through to ebay security or what ever. Just gotta wait til they feel like getting back to me.

Yep...once your accounts suspended....thats it, no more ebay. Its happened to me. I took too long to pay for an item (no real excuse, just forgot really). Lady complained, i got suspended. So i re-created another account, used my parents postal address, but nope..it still it all came back to me - and this was in the day before you HAD to have a paypal account. So yeah, i dont think you will be using ebay again soon, but in terms of the items youve already won - didnt you get emails sent to a non ebay account e.g hotmail, yahoo etc ?? cant you just email the seller, say your having trouble with ebay at the moment, but can they just forward bank account details to you and you will pay - of course, you run the risk of them not forwarding the item on...and then you really wont have a leg to stand on....not much help am i ??? Think of all the money you will save now....


Im only allowed to use my DH's ebay account under very, very special circumstances...ive been banned from him too....

im pretty sure you can still access your messages when your suspended Skye.. have you tried that?

i got suspended when my $52 money order was never received by ebay... 3 months later, they 'recieved' it and i was reinstated... only to get strikes for unpaid items. grrrrrr

i hate ebay. i never use it anymore!

mbear - The items are paid for, & once you are suspended, you can access your messages, but nothing else. No info about sellers, or items you bought or anything. No email adresses & can't reply to messages. I tried

All I can hope is that since I paid through paypal, they'll see my details there & send the stuff. They can't access my details through ebay at all. I asked someone in live chat. They said contact paypal & let them know what was happening & see if they can do something... Not much hope there...

I'm just ****ed that I tried to do the right thing & got crapped on for it!

are these sellers, still selling ??? could you get someone to ask them a question ? i.e what is your email address ?? some people have their emails within their ad description ????? Worth a try....
