Can anybody recommend a doula on the Gold Coast?

Hi,

Just wondering if anybody on the Gold Coast have had experience of using a doula (or heard of friends/family using one)?

I'm interested in getting in contact with some doulas on the Gold Coast and wondering if anybody have any recommendations?

I used a Doula... unfortunatly she is not on the Gold Coast anymore, but I have already hooked myself up with another one for this birth.


Shes a beautiful lady from Nimbin who has had some amazing birth experiences, she does pregnancy massage aswell as other relaxation techniques... She really puts all she can into helping you have the most beautiful birthing experience ever! I just adore her (haha, ok, so Im abit biased, as she is an old friend of mine!)...

Hi there im also interested in finding a doula etc on the goldcoast as i am single and wanting to make this a positive experience

1st child born 6 weeks early naturally
2nd emergency c section
3rd born with use of venthouse

i find the whole hospital an being poked an proded experience daunting and believe plays a big part in things going sour

also looking for any single mums on the coast wanting to start a play group

PS AM I CRAZY TO BE GOING AHEAD, MY EX WANTS TO ABORT, ITS NOT EVEN A DECION TO HIM ( LOT MORE TO THE STORY WILL UPDATE IF ANY CURIOUS LOL

MamaBones - Thank you for the recommendation. I am all sorted though, as I have been accepted to the Gold Coast birth centre (wanted a doula mainly to have someone to give me the moral support to have a birth as natural as possible...)
