| | Egg donor?
Hi I'm new to this site but I've been TTC for quite some time now and after many IVFs most of which didn't produce embryos I'm trying to come to terms with having to seek out an egg donor but apart from posting on a few obvious places am not really sure where else I can try.
Any suggestions?

Hi hopeful41,
I've just moved this thread to the Donor Conception forum. Hopefully you will get more replies here.

Thanks Sushee, I hope someone is able to offer some really good advice, the desire for a little bub to love and the horrible realisation that it's simply not achievable without a miracle is not an easy one as I'm sure lots of people know.

hi hopeful41
i am sorry you aren't having much joy with IVF to date. it is so frustrating when our bodies don't respond the way we believe they should. if you wanted any information on donor eggs there is a wonderful private forum called Aussie Egg Donors that deals specifically with this. just google it and you should come up with the website. you need to request to join and within a day or so you will be signed up and can ask many other women lots and lots of questions regarding options available for you. let me know if you need any more info.
wishing you all the best
xx

I have been trying to join Aussie Egg Donors for the past four days without any luck. The application to join screen takes all my details fine but then when I submit it I don't get any response other than a refreshed application to join screen. And I haven't heard from anyone either.
Anyone know what is happening?
Thanks.

Hopeful41,
Just read your post - that's brilliant news! Will your donor be known or unknown?(we are using a SD - first unknown, now known)
How is it all working out?

I forgot to update my thread. I had a very exciting recipient experience in January this year and got to enjoy the wonderful feeling of being pregnant. It was incredible. That was until the miscarriage.
My lovely donor agreed to go again for me but I had to wait until she donated to someone else first. Unfortunately something happened medically and while she did a fantastic job for that recipient she is no longer able to donate, at least for a long time.
So now I'm back to my searching for a donor again.
