Hooray for new thread!
I hope this one is full of dropping numbers!
BW - 70kg flat is great! A 500g loss is brilliant, especially for someone with so much to face as you.
Jazah - I should send you a photo for your fridge - lol! And you can have fun explaining to friends why there is a stranger on your fridge!
Chez - I know you can do WW while pg. I know two people who have "lost" weight while pregnant. One only gained 500g through her whole pregnancy, so lost a bit off herself, and the other I don't know the figures for, but she did it with WW. I wouldn't be comfortable with not telling any program.
Jayne - not a lot of before shots around - I wasn't keen to have photos taken at my peak! I will do some hunting though. If all else fails, DH's mate has one (on his wall! ) where I feel like I can really see the difference.
So, only 2 weeks til I do the Brissy - Gold Coast bike ride. It sort of crept up on me so I haven't done much training. But I do ride to work every day - 15km each way, and I might take the scenic route a few days over the next two weeks and it will probably be enough. When I did the 50km ride back in July, I was pretty out of form (was 9 days after the m/c) but still managed fine, and could have gone further. Still, good to have something to work towards!

Just signing in but I have had a tough week so I'm not hopeful for a loss tomorrow - things have been really slowing down on the scales lately

hi weight loss buddies, just checking in with everyone. sorry i have not been keeping up much- my laptop died so i've been using dh's dad's old one and it is super slow and very annoying!!!!
anyway, i weighed in this morning and had a 0.5kg loss which is exactly what i'm aiming for every week so i'm really happy. i'm trying to take things really slow and steady this time, and just gradually reach my goal weight by next year some time.
i was a bit norti and ate 2 cupcakes today. whoops!!! will have to go for a long walk tomorrow.i hope everyone is doing well. will catch up a bit better tomorrow.

Best check in to the new thread before I lose it. I'm in the middle of my post-flare exhaustion, but I coped without increasing the prednisone. I'm having a bit of a rubbishy day today - it's just so cold and I'm hitting the hot drinks instead of my water, but hopefully a few really disciplined days to come will see things right. It helps that most of my friends have been doing a super shape me course through church (too high impact for me) so they are with me on the weight loss effort and really supportive - especially when I am offered cake like I was at church this morning! There was no cake consumed, go me! Hopefully the weather will settle a bit and I can get back on track with my walking... If I don't see a 6 at my next weigh in, I ought to be shot!
Hope everyone is having a good weekend... Sam's upset so I have to run.
BW

Hi guys. Just popping in to see hello. I won't be weighing in this week as I now have a cast on my leg and don't know how much it weighs by itself. At least it is only short term - 5 days. But I have to fight the temptation to eat junk food knowing that I won't weigh-in. Argh!! I want fried food or pizza! But they are just soooo bad. Luckily my lovely DH is making a clear Indonesian soup for me. I will feel better after that. I got some light and creamy ice-cream the other day. It is pretty good for fat and calories with a small serve and sooo delicious!

Arghhhh - Krys, your cast sounds a bit disastrous! Maybe you should weigh in with it anyway, and then your loss after 5 days will be huge
Had a not-very-blown-out weekend, despite being at a music festival. We got chips while there but we didn't drink, didn't really eat that much, and danced quite a lot. We also drank heaps of water, which was definitely a good choice.
Today we did a $250 grocery shop! Biggest ever! We haven't been able to get there because we've been travelling, but we're well-stocked here now, which is good. I definitely eat better when there's a fridge full of fresh food.
Down side of the weekend - lungs full of dust. I had to run for a train this afternoon and have been finding breathing uncomfortable ever since. Does not augur well for my promise to ride to work every day for the next 2 weeks!

Snugg you are such an inspiration to us! And good idea on weighing with the cast - ha ha!
I told DH I should be fine once the cast is off on Thursday and will play soccer on Friday night. Just joking but he so wasn't impressed LOL. The music festival sounds awesome. I am sure I mostly kept thin through clubbing when I was younger - the dancing really works it all off!
Hope all the Monday weigh ins have a great result!

Krys - you have really been in the wars lately! I agree with Snug, weigh in with your cast on and then when it comes off.
Snug - well done on your weekend. Unfortunately mine wasn't quite as restrained - I did drink slightly too much on Saturday and ate junk. However I did start spring cleaning the house yesterday so that would have burnt some calories.
Thanks for your motivation Mr S!
I have a sore throat and have been up for the last 3 nights with DD2 screaming for 2 hours straight so I think my gym workout today will be pretty poor as I feel like death warmed up. I will go though as I do need to weigh in. I will let you know how I go. BTW - I must be really dumb as I tried to do the Calorie King website and I couldn't work it out

Hi Ladies,
Here I am 11 weeks since giving birth to dd3 and I have to lose this horrible spare tyre that I have aquired. My weight loss goal is 10kgs. I have the will to do this but I am finding it hard to get out and exercise. I have every intention to get up early to exercise but when it comes time to get up I am exhausted due to lack of sleep. Plus those afternoon sweet munchies keep misterously finding their way into my hands.
Any tips are appreciated
