Well I weighed in and I lost 0.6kg So I am 68.6kg - only another 0.6kg off my pre-preg weight, a total of 11.4kg lost so far!

Nice work, Nai! All going well, you'll be there in another week or two. Do you have further to go or is that the goal?
Welcome, Bek. Best tip I've got for avoiding the sweet afternoon munchies is to not have them in the house and try to replace them with fruit. You can't eat what's not there.
Cold today... thinking about going for a walk this afternoon but it's still pretty windy and I'm not sure my energy levels are picking up yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Plus those afternoon sweet munchies keep misterously finding their way into my hands.
Any tips are appreciated | tips in brief
drink plenty of water to find out how much water your body needs divide you body weight by 30 and that is how many litres your body needs per day I learnt this recently from another thread
walk 50-60 mins a day or build up to that
change your diet around
dont eat after dinner
when you get all stressed out dont go the fridge go for a nice walk instead you will come back feeling so much better
when you know you are going to have alot of not so good food counteract that by going for a longer walk say and extra 20-30 mins at least you shoudl not put on weight in the morning
if/when you do fall of the rails just get back up and move on
I know it is xtra hard when you have a broken sleep but you will find that the energy levels will rise rember the 1st day is the hardest day
those are my tips all the best

Wow Mr Squidipa - that is a fabulous weight loss! Well done. I'm going to have to calculate how many litres of water I should be drinking now.
Nai - well done on the loss! You've done well losing 11.4 kilos so far! I hope you're feeling better soon. What part of CK did you have trouble with?
BekZ - Hi there!!! For the afternoon munchies - i'll have a banana or an apple, and when i really need a sweet treat -about 5 marshmallows. I've also started having some Dark Chocolate (I'm following the Flat Belly diet) I find that I only need one square ( i nibble on it ) because it's so rich. Good luck!
bw - it's great that your friends are so supportive. Hope you got to go for your walk.
afm - I had a an 800gram loss, so down to 68.1 I've lost a total of 4cm off my waist, and 3 off my chest and hips, which is exciting. I'm finding though, that now I've got my digital scales, I keep getting on them. I think I'm going to have to make myself wait until check -in each week.

Hi G - Yeah, my check in on Calorie King is Monday morning. I'm hoping to get to 65kilos to start with, and then I'll go from there. I'd like to get into a size 12 comfortably. Size 14 is too big for me at the moment, and size 12 a little tight - unless I'm wearing my gutsuckers

BW - do you want me to send you down a scarf? I will! Go for a walk, even if it's only a quickie. The sunshine WILL be good for you. I have beanies and overcoats too, if you need them. No spare raincoat, but I can arrange one!
Jazah - awesome loss! 800g is the stuff I dream of!
Mr Squid - look at you, the all new personal trainer! I love it. Great tips. Where's your thread that you posted, a while ago? If you find it, BekZ, there's all my very best tips in it. But Mr Squid pretty much covered the lot, especially that if you fall off the horse (or exercise bike ) you just gotta get right back on it!
I didn't weigh in today - started work super early, and in my sleep-deprived haze put my shoes on before I went downstairs, and my cycling shoes are heavy as! I will weigh in tomorrow, but don't expect more than 200g, if anything at all.

i'd love to get down to 63 but i'm just not sure i can do it. i just seem to get so hungry while breastfeeding.
i got that prevention mag from dad. it's still in my car- might have to go grab it and have a read. how are you finding the diet?

I'm finding it really easy to follow - at the moment. I just have to include one of these 5 at each meal time - Nuts and seeds, Oils, Avocado, Dark Chocolate and Olives. I also keep each meal time to 1600kilojoules. Snacks to 1600 as well.

| | Krys I totally agree about the clubbing! It'st the only logical explanation because all the alcohol consumption would have been 'well' over 1200 cals lol BekZ hello Mr.Suid our personal trainer has given you great advise good luck with your weight loss, I am aiming to loose about 10kg too (but more like 15 would be great) SnugBug with all the working out you do I think you can have some chips once in a while. hehhehe Everyone else well done on your weight losses (even with eating cupcakes Ginger) hehhee
AFM I was hiding in shame yesterday got on the scales and I was 72.4!!!!! which is only 400 grams lighter than when I originally started loosing weight! OMG talk about a kick in the bum. SO here I am fessing up about all those dinners out in the past week with family from Victoria... Hasn't done me any favors and I am totally disappointed with myself. Luckily I haven't given up (which many people would do in my situation). Expect to see some weight loss figures over the comming weeks.

I am having the crappiest worst horriblest stupidest day ever.
I locked myself in the toilet at work and had a big cry. BIG cry. Biggest one for quite a while, certainly biggest one I've had at work. Finally snuck out, told my admin I was leaving, and left. Went for coffee with DH.
Now going out to swim it off. Not going to emotional eat over it. Going to be strong.

Thanks for the welcomes and advice, especially Mr Squida.
Jaz - I hate being in that inbetween stage. I was inbetween a 12 and 14 before conceiving Eva and is such a pain. Now well I am definately a size 14 or more.
I went for a walk yesterday, nothing big just go out with the kids. Next thing is to weigh myself (scales are broken) and do some measurements.
I was doing so well not eating any naughty food yesterday until late last night I had a very tough day with the kids and Eva was feeding hourly. I finally got her down for the night then went straight to the cupboard and ate 5 biscuits. Talk about emotional eating!!!

Snug - I hope your day improves. Good on you for not eating through it and swimming it out though. That's a great attitude.
Jaz - I was having trouble with putting in my meals into the CK website. I think I'm just a bit slow I will have to sit down properly and work it out. In the meanitime the WW is still doing what I need at the moment.
Ginger - I wish I was skinny! I'm still 4.5kg over a helthy BMI but my goal is 60-62kg. I think you should set some mini goals so under 70kg and then 65kg.
Belfie - well done on the weightloss!! In the 61's - woohoo!!!
AFM - I have started doing some shadow shifts for my swimming instructor course so I rode to the pool, did 3 hours of assistant teaching and then rode home again.

Hi guys!
Well congratulations to everyone who had a loss this week. What a great result!
Snugg- I am so sorry you are having a bad day. Big hugs. I hope the coffee with your DH helped and whatever it is doesn't seem so bad in a little while.
Cherished - Bugger!!! Family dinners are the worst because you just revert right back to the eating habits you started with. I do exactly the same thing. But you can do it!!!
OK. I have a big announcement......are you ready?........on Friday it is 12 weeks untill Christmas! Can you believe it?!?! So with that in mind I am doing one more 12 week challenge for the year. Anyone else keen to join me to get into awesome shape for the festive season?
I am going to reset my ticker to zero so I can't go backwards and my goal is to lose 9 kilos over 12 weeks. I am working on a weekly exercise plan to keep me from getting bored. Am really fired up and excited!!! Woo hoo!!!
