Don't panic! You know how we always think these things will last forever? Well, they never do. promise. As soon as she is better she will go back into her own bed. I'd just ride it out and do what you need to while she is sick. Things will go back to normal soon.

As long as its not for weeks on end I wouldn't worry too much ; a couple of nights is unlikely to be too hard to break.

Hope she feels better soon

I slept in a double bed with Lu last too, then swapped to another bed with Sas, then back again. I was like a co-sleeping yo-yo!

I woke up with a Dora toilet wedged in my back this morning. DD must have climbed in early this morning clutching it - weird child.

Yep. Lu spewed EVERWHERE in her bed last night. We've had 6 nappies this morning so far from 'sharding' (****ting whilst farting if you're not up with the lingo. ) Pretty over poo and spew. It has to end soon. seriously!

ETA- wish lu loved a potty!

A friend of mine who went to a sleep centre for her daughter, was shown how to settle her in her own bed. But she was advised that when a child is sick all that goes out the window. I wouldn't worry about a couple of days, just encourage her to go back when she's back to her normal self. I know it can be a little hard in the meantime but it shouldn't be for too much longer if you're not keen on co-sleeping. Hope DD is 100% very soon.

Jols - we've had the same as Miss J has been up during the night as well. Ange - we've also had the sharting with up the back action so I have to dress her in layers so it doesn't leak through. Blah!!!

Anyway - back on topic - she will go back to her own bed when she is feeling better. FWIW I always start Miss J in her bed at night and then move her to our when she wakes. Once she is better she wakes less and stays in her own bed longer.

AJP. Hope everyone is better soon. At least when they're in your bed you're not trudging up the hall half a dozen times a night. DD seems to wake a lot more often when she's sick and I don't do midnight trips out of my bed so well.

at the Dora toilet, Lulu! We end up with a variety of dolls and stuffed toys, but the most uncomfortable has to be Barbie. Too many sharp arms and legs!
