Default Anyone read Pantley's 'No Cry Nap Solution'?

DD has suddenly decided that nap time is baaaaad . I'm now really struggling to get her to go down for naps, and even when I succeed, she will only nap for one sleep cycle (about 40 mins).

I've got some tips on initial setting and trying to resettle through into the next sleep cycle from Pantley's "No Cry Sleep Solution" (BRILLIANT book) but so far am not having much success with the resettle - DD just wakes up and beams at me! Apparently all that patting and shushhing is very amusing .

Just wondering if anyone has read her Nap book and whether it is worth getting for extra tips on the resettle? I've got the other book from the library, but they don't have the napping book. Is it worth buying it do you think? Anyone have any great tips or know what the book suggests about catnapping?

TIA

Not sure darl, I only have NCSS. Have you checked her website or emailed her? I mentioned in another post, I emailed her and got a wealth of information, was able to pick her brains and her advice for nights (for us) was fantastic!!!

Wow Leasha - I'm so impressed at brave people like you who actually just contact these gurus. And impressed that you actually got a reply, that's fantastic. Might just have to take a leaf out of your book I think, DS is driving us beyond exhaustion with his overnight issues atm.

Which is OT I know, and I haven't read the Nap solution book, but have read both the original NCSS & the Toddler version, plus her Discipline book, and they're all excellent. So I'd say if I were desperate about the napping, then $30 or so is a small price to pay.
