Question Sleep School Question!

A gf of mine is going to the Sth Eastern Private Hospital Mother & Baby Unit. - I just wanted to know if anyone has been there and what they thought of it? - She said the lady she spoke with was adamant they don't use CC methods. - i thought most sleep schools did use this method, or some variation of it?

Any advice would be appreciated.

TIA

I went to trisillian which is a sleep school based in NSW. They also don't use 'control crying' they do however use "comfort crying" or 'comfort settling' I think they call it. If you google Karitane that is a basic outline of what they didn in Trisillian. It depends on what your definition of controlled crying is because IMO this can be a form of controlled crying.

If there is anything else you want to know let me know.

Thanks Kelebek - I'm just worried that my girlfriend has been lulled into a false sense of "security" - I said to her they may not use true control crying methods, however, they may consider a baby "whinging" initially not crying? - She is adamant that the lady she spoke to said no they dont use any type of crying methods, which i find hard to believe? - My friend is more excited about the fact that she gets a massage and time to sleep.....
