Default Is teething ring in cot ok?

Hi everyone, my 7 month old DD has just started showing teething symptoms the past couple of weeks, and has started to get bad the last couple of days. She was crying for 2 hours after I put her to bed last night, and for 1 hour the night before, and an hour today for her lunchtime sleep. I ended up rocking her to sleep in my arms because she was so distressed.

I was wondering how safe it is to leave a teething ring in her cot at night for her to chew on? She's got a small comforter but it just isn't giving her relief. During the day she chews on teething rings & it seems to help. I've also tried Brauer's & nurofen/pandol with mixed success.

absolutely! If it makes her feel better and has no small parts or cords it is fine to have in her cot.
As are teddies, dolls etc...
