Don't worry about his weight for now - he will gain it back and then some very quickly now that he's well again. When my eldest was only 7 months old he lost nearly a kilo in a week from a gastro/vomiting bug that lasted for 8 days but he gained all of that and nearly another half kilo within 2 weeks of being back on his normal diet again. A lot of the loss is just fluid too.

Thankyou so much everyone, He is looking even better today! we had a few moments yesterday, where I started getting worried aggain but his temp seems to be regulating, was going up and down all over the place
he slept well last night and woke this morning in a good mood, even ate some breakfast. thankfully, it looks like this is the end of it!
