Ouch. looks painful. Looks like something's been biting her to me.
Have you got any stingoes or stop itch? Might keep her happy enough to see how she is in the morning.

I've had a look, not really sure - to me it looks a bit clustery - like as if there's been something in her clothes in that spot - a burr, or an insect. Doesn't really look like chicken pox, possibly heat rash?

Sorry that's not been very helpful.

Edit: draw a circle around the area with a pen, that way you will easily be able to tell if it gets any larger.

it's hard to tell from the photo, but it does look like a shingles or chickenpox rash. could be even impetigo. Is she unwell? or have a fever?

It looks like a bite to me however it's never easy to tell from a photo. If the rash spreads by tomorrow it may be worth a visit to the doctor

That is what the WCH said to another mum when they bought her daughter in for a rash. I hope you get some answers it looks ouchie, but looks a bit like a cluster of bites, like ants or something like that.

Poor bubba, I hope it does keep her awake tonight!

If it were chicken pox I'd expect a wider spread.

More like a reactionary rash. Certainly looks angry.

(Adults get Shingles-kids get chicken pox. Same bug, different appearance.)

Off to the doc.

It looks like Chicken Pox to me. My nephew had them last week and he had a patch like that as well but on his bum. But I am no dr. I hope she's alright!

I have no advice but it does look painful. Huge to you and your DD. Hopefully it has dissappeared by now.

If it were chicken pox, I would expect it to have spread overnight. The spots often start on the tummy and back. It's hard to tell fromt he pics, but I still don't think it looks like them - they are usually little fluid filled blisters.
I am still leaning towards bites.
