Question blood traces in 3/4 month old;s poop?

DS just had his 4 month vaccs this afternoon. His first poop pretty much within 10min of of vaccs had traces of blood in it, a mucous-y poop. His next one also (about 2 hours later) had some traces in it, again mucousy. I'm seeing the dr tomorrow afternoon about DS's dry skin and figured I'd bring it to his attention. Just looking for reassurance that it's okay to wait that long to see someone about or if I should hit the panic stations.

I think it will be fine to wait until tomorrow. Traces of blood are relatively common - usually it's from a little tear. I'd only worry there was a lot of blood.

I have had the same thing happen with my DS, since from about 3 months old, has happened probably 3-4 times, the most recent being just last week, I just take a sample in (grabbed a few containers from the doc ) theres never anything wrong, but its peace of mind JIC.

I think tomorrow should be fine, especially if it's just traces.
DS2 had blood in his poo at 8 weeks, it was an intolerance to the cows milk protein in my diet, I was off dairy for a few weeks & then it fixed itself. Or can be from a tear, as MR said, maybe something going on there if it's a bit mucousy...
It's worth getting it checked but I wouldn't stress too much overnight

Thanks for the advice. He's been drooling a lot lately so thinking he may be starting to think about teething as well. Chemist thinks his dry skin my be Seborrheic Dermatitis (or basically cradle cap) so will check that out tomorrow as well.
