mamasmurf is on the way
Question one year old swallowing probs

Has anyone used speech pathology services to help their child with swallowing/feeding problems? Was it worthwhile, or do you feel your child grew out of the problems? What kind of strategies did they use? Were they effective?
I know all kids are different but I`m considering what to do.The therapists which have been reccommended are in East Brisbane so quite convenient. DD does okay with chewing but swallowing even mushy food is at times problematic but adding more liquid to the food and allowing her to drink as much as she want during meals has improved matters.
