Default a totally different reaction

For those of you who followed the last post I did in this forum, I caught up with another lawyer friend who is 36-37 yo and pregnant with her first child. She is having the baby at a public hospital because she doesn't see the need for an OB (women have always had babies, she said) and has read up on homebirth (remember the article in the Age a few weeks ago), knows about the "cascade of intervention", and is keen on joining the ABA to learn about breastfeeding. It was so refreshing to be able to gently add to her optimism about birth by talking about the resources available to her (private midwives, doulas, the ABA, hypno/calm birthing and of couse, bellybelly).

So I thought I would let you know that some women are getting the message
