Loads of birthy people are staying at the Rydges hotel, its gonna be packed so it's something you'll need to book if it's going to be there.

OK.

Buffet breakfast is $23/head for full buffet or $19/head for continental.

Manuka Shopping Precinct is a "short stroll" away and has lots of cafes etc so we could just rock on into one of those, which I dare say would be cheaper.

yep that sounds good. there are a few little cafes etc (there's an AOK one next to the cinema...K Rudd did have dinner there just before becoming PM...little bit of ol local trivia LOL!)

mebbe we can meet at front of cinema (main entrance) say around 8.00-8.30ish and go from there?

Been a bit busy this week, didn't even see this thread till today!
I'll be at Rydges and having brekky there - saved a heap on the Embassy Suite (sharing with 3 lovelies) and gonna blow the savings on buffet
Might have to get up really early to get a spot in the pool!!
Anyhow, some chicks from my electorate will be meeting up with our MP, most likely at the Aboriginal Tent Embassy if we don't get to meet before that.
