Actually, a friend of mine is organising something at Parliament house.

Time: 9:30in the morning, Monday, September 7th
I can't make it cos I'm in Kalgoorlie, (entreat - OMG, a fellow kalgoorlian!) but I'd love to if I could. Hope you other Perth folks can make it!

In July 2010 birthing at home with an independent Midwife will become illegal under the proposed legislation that Nicola Roxon is trying to push through. A $30,000 fine will be the penalty for an attending midwife and the woman who seeks to hire her.

Nothing to do in Kal? I miss Kal for the social connections! There are so many friends up there with kids I would never be bored and always have somewhere to go for coffee!
