Market Place Membership Guidelines

1. On becoming a BellyBelly Market Place Member, you become eligible to have a one line sentence and text link (no extra editing or in larger font, no images etc) in your signature: all other BellyBelly signature rules would still apply.

For an example of what you can include, please see below:

BellyBelly - Gentle Solutions for Conception, Pregnancy, Birth & Parenthood

A character limit of 65 characters in a single colour, in 4 point font, of one fontonly, in a font of a similar type to the BellyBelly forums (such as Verdana or Arial). Text links are preferred. Please ask if you would like any assistance with this!

2. This signature can be used in ALL forums however it must be in your signature and not in posts. Anyone posting links before their BellyBelly Market Place Member rank is activated or before payment is received will have their posts / profile details removed.

3. All other forum guidelines remain the same, and BellyBelly market Place Members need to follow these guidelines, their posts will be moderated in the same way as all other members.

4. MPMs may not discuss business directly in the forums, all discussions relating to MPM business should be via PM or email. It is permissible for a MPM to respond to a member's general enquiry about a product with an invitation for the member to PM them, but no further detail should be given (eg: price, availability, etc), and all discussions between the member and the MPM should be conducted privately.

5. We reserve the right to refuse this method of advertising to businesses which we feel are inappropriate. This includes any business we do not consider appropriate for our members. This includes any business which impacts any BellyBelly member in a negative way. We will not accept any applications from work from home opportunities; pyramid marketing schemes or weight loss programs. We reserve the right to refuse any form of business advertising at our own discretion.

We also reserve the right to consider each MPM application on an individual basis, depending on its overall relevance to the site.

We will approve consultant style business, but again reserve the right to limit this.

6. BellyBelly is in no way responsible for the conduct of business owners and product offered for sale via these advertising links, however of course we'll do our best to make sure the rules are followed and business links are genuine. We reserve the right at any time to cancel your advertising link should there be any breech of terms or inappropriate use of your link or business.

7. All MPM should, at all times, utilise this form of advertising in a mature fashion. The very nature of WAHM should be entirely supportive, particularly on the forums. It is worth remembering that whilst a number of MPM may be offering competitive and similar products, the marketplace is HUGE. There are more than enough sales for everyone. Promote your business on its own merits: any attempts to run down other MPM in any way (regardless of how subtle) will not be tolerated. Please be mindful of this when posting. Again, if we consider that any MPM is walking a fine line with regard to this type of behavior, we will have no hesitation in removing their MPM status. No refunds will be given. Refunds will also not be given if a member chooses to leave BellyBelly or have their membership cancelled/deactivated.

8. We reserve the right to amend these MPM guidelines at any time.
