hey Squid. I think the more you have the more relaxed about it you are.
You know Wolfgang will be named eventually and right now you have so much else to focus on, that a name for your still has weeks to be baked son, is not so much of a priority right now.
We have a couple in mind for Shaniqua but to be honest im not stressing or worried about it. We havent even really had a name talk as such, more of a "hey what do you think of .........?"
It will just come to you one day and that will be his name. If not you still have three months after he is here to register his birth so heaps of time yet! |

No names picked here yet at all!!!!!!! and only have 10 weeks to go
When DS was born we had a boys name picked but no girls were still discussing in labour!!!!
SO dont stress you have ages to go!!!
You do have 60 days after birth to register birth!!
Good luck

| | DH had picked DDs name even before we knew we were having a girl, within the first few weeks. But i know heaps of people who have had thier kids for weeks before they named them. A friends daughter was called Emerald for a few weeks then they changed thier minds and her name is now Milla. I wouldnt panic, it has to fit in with all your other kids names too so it will probably be heaps harder! Good luck. |

We were still deciding when I was 38 weeks pregnant. Then my grandad got sick so we were thrown into a new name game as we wanted something special and close to his name. It wasn't until she was born and Shel was over on the 'warming tabe' playing with her hands and she looked at me and said "what should we call her" and we decided Jasmine Ray. So you have HEAPS of time

I wouldnt say less concerned as it is still important to me that this name is still funky and fits well with my boys names but I just dont have as much time to dedicate to thinking about it right now.
Maybe at 38weeks I may start stressing about it but I have a wee way to go yet!

I am 30.5 weeks pregnant and we haven't made much progress with names this time. With DS we had his name picked by 14 weeks.

Hi! My friends voted on a top 10 when their little girl was born then we had to call her "little baby girl" until they finally decided about 4 days later. We thought it was hillarious but cute

... if it makes you feel better we had no boy's name even on the day i gave birth (and it was our 1st child, you would think it would be easier to have come up with just one boy's name, nope not us, LOL)

Hello Squidipa - we decided to name our bubs after my father ( DH's son is named for his father). I've already started calling him "baby Bob" or "belly Bob", but I think he'll be more of a Robbie until he grows into Robert. Actually DH did the deciding - I only had a girls name that I liked. It was a simple 2 minute discussion!!
