Default Really really need help...Deegan _____?

Hi.

I just found out that I'm expecting a boy at our 19wk scan (we had a girl's name all picked out because intelligender said we were havin a girl) and my partner is insisting on naming our baby Deegan but I can't seem to find a middle name to go with it. Our last name is only 4 letters.

I like Deegan James but my sister has a 7month old baby called Vincent James so that is out. I would prefer it to start with a J so he can be nicknamed DJ (because I can't think of any other nicknames for Deegan) but anything that goes with Deegan will be considered and greatly appreciated.

Also was wondering has anybody heard of a child with the name Deegan??

Thanks.

My first thought was Deegan James too.

Deegan Joseph
Deegan Jared
Deegan Jay
Deegan Phillip
Deegan William

I'm sure there are others too but thats all I can think of at the moment.

Deegs and D can be nicknames of Deegan (as I'm sure there are others too)
GL choosing a name.

Jacoby
John
Joshua

etc etc

Default Thanks heaps

Hey everyone.

Thanks heaps for your replies. I'm going to put these names to my partner and see what he says.

If we can't find one he thinks fits we will go with a name that starts with any letter (doesn't have to be J). Suggestions?

Thanks again

I wouldn't worry about your sister having a Vincent James - James is a very common middle name - like Rose and Maree for girls. Plus cousins often have the same middle name as siblings tend to name their children after family members. Besides, you rarely hear the middle name pronounced with the first name anyways - I doubt she'd be offended if you used it!!

Thanks for all your suggestions

What does everyone think of Deegan Isaac?

I fell in love with the name Isaac as soon as I seen it but do you think it flows nicely?
