Astrid, not sure exactly what it is your husband has, but my DP had ulcerative colitis, sounds similar from what i've heard. He was very sick for years and years and had an op to 'fix' things. It was pretty major surgery and he now swears by probiotics, along with other things to keep him as healthy as he can be. Probiotics are the one thing that now help him keep his other meds down, without them he's be alot sicker. He takes the stronhest probiotics you can get, very expensive though. I think enliven would be great for him!
