No, it should be about as uncomfortable as a pap smear, & you should be ok for work afterwards. GL!

ETA: I should just clarify here, that although the ET
shouldn't be that bad, I know some people find them terrible. I've had four of them, and on two occasions I had to ask FS to change the size of the speculum (sp?) because the discomfort was not bearable. He now uses a medium-sized one, which is lots better. But it should only be discomfort, and the discomfort disappears after the procedure - you shouldn't have any pain afterwards.
