Default Saying good-bye to co-sleeping. How do you do it?

I'm not looking for ways to stop the boys from wanting to co-sleep. I'm just wondering how you adjusted back to sleeping without your baby after co-sleeping.
Yasin is almost 5 and he still sleeps with one of us for the last few hours of about 4 nights a week. Imran still comes into my bed nearly every night. I love snuggling him so much, most nights I don't sleep soundly until he has woken up for a sook and come into my bed. DH is just as bad as me. At the first squeak from either of them he's off for a snuggle lol.
I hope it's a while in the future but once your babies stopped co-sleeping how long was it until you adjusted to not having them in your bed?
