Buliej, that is exactly what I was thinking about when I asked that! WTF??? The donors would have no contact with the resulting child, why the HELL do they need to undergo checks? I wonder how this will impact on the variety, availability and price of donor eggs/sperm.
I dont have a criminal history but my
DH does. Youthful indiscretions. If we were in VIC would I have to find someone else to have a baby with? So I would be punished for something I did not do. Any which way I look at this I see VIOLATION OF BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS. But then again, I am biased.
